 Triple Point Brewing



On this page are a series of images from my beer can designs for Triple Point Brewery, an indie brewing company in Sheffield.  

I based my design around the theme ‘Hidden Sheffield’, focusing in on the infamous ‘Black Ball Final’ at the 1985 Snooker World Championships between Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis.  










I wanted the name to both sum up the match and sell the beer. ‘Deadlock’ is a catchy name that aptly describes the moment just before Taylor finally potted the black ball in order to win the match, rendering the final scores 18-17 - one of the closest and tensest matches in history.
